Established in 1990 Sunstate Hydroponics is one of Queensland's most experienced hydroponic and Aquaponic specialists.


We service all markets - Hobby, Commercial, Educational, Wholesale.


We stock and or can source everything you might need in relation to-

  • Aquaponics (expanded clays aka hydroton etc. is our specialty, pallets of the stuff)
  • Organic Gardening
  • Water Analysis


We have specialized people on call in all related areas- electrical, chemistry, fish keeping, ex-commercial farmers and have a qualified agronomist (semi-retired but still the best) for consultation by appointment.


Simply put, we have the experience and supply network needed to bring you working solutions to your growing needs, no matter how big or small.


Our goal is helping you to succeed, we know every product we sell. WHY and HOW it works- pro's and con's. Everything is tried and tested.


Which ever growing method you prefer, all we say is do it right!  Lets face it, they all work but only as long as the plants get what they need!!! Your in control here and if its out of spec the plants themselves will soon tell you.

We stock over 650 products so if you don't see it here, please free to ask as we may already have it in store. On that rare occasion we don't have it or its equivalent, we have a supply network second to none with contacts in Australia, NZ, Europe, USA, Canada and China. If it exists - we can usually get it. Just contact for a special order and firm quote.


Finally, we also work closely with other local nursery suppliers. If you are after a Greenhouse, Bulk Fertilizer/commercial supplies, decorative pots, garden design or anything else 'grow' related we can certainly put you in touch with the right people.
