Description

AZ Waterproof EC pens raise the bar in ease of use, reliability, function and price point. AZ meters provide a big IP65 LCD screen with dual EC and temperature display. Wide measuring range from 0-9999ppm and a temperature range of -5°C to +60°C. Waterproof IP65 keypad with simple calibration. Also includes a hold button to freeze current readings in low visibility. ATC (auto temperature compensation) ensures accurate readings in all climates. Auto off function maximizes battery life.

• 0 – 1999 µS (microsiemens) = 0 – 1.999 mS (millisiemens) or as we refer to in hydro 0 – 1.99 EC. This range is for low-conductivity solutions, like pure or lightly salted water (e.g., drinking or tap water or hydroponics with very low nutrient levels).
• 2.00 – 19.99 mS (millisiemens) or 2 – 19.99 EC: This range is for medium-conductivity solutions, such as irrigation water or nutrient solutions in hydroponics.
• 20.0 – 160.0 mS or 20 – 160 EC: This range is for high-conductivity solutions, like seawater or heavily fertilised solutions.
